These Terms of Use (the “Terms”) are a legal agreement between you and Pablo Iturralde, an independent developer based in Spain (“we”, “us”) governing your use of the My Kid Space iOS app (the “App”). By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App on Apple devices that you own or control, for your personal, non-commercial family use, subject to these Terms and to Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the standard “Apple EULA”), which also applies and is incorporated by reference. Where these Terms and the Apple EULA conflict, the term more protective of you as a consumer applies.
The App is intended for use by parents and guardians (adults) to manage device sessions for children in their care. You must be old enough to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction. You sign in with Apple; you are responsible for activity under your Apple Account and for the device passcode/Face ID used to confirm a parent is present.
The App may offer auto-renewable subscriptions and/or a one-time purchase to unlock features. For auto-renewable subscriptions:
You manage or cancel your subscription in iOS Settings → your name → Subscriptions (or the App Store). You can restore a previous purchase from within the App. Because Apple processes payment, refunds are handled by Apple under its policies; request them at reportaproblem.apple.com.
My Kid Space helps you focus a device by allowing only the apps you choose during a session, using Apple's Screen Time / Family Controls features. It is a tool to assist supervision — it is not a substitute for parental supervision and cannot guarantee that a determined user cannot bypass restrictions. The App depends on Apple's frameworks and the device's configuration; certain system apps and functions may remain available, behavior can change with iOS updates, and no content filter or restriction is perfect. You remain responsible for supervising the children in your care. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for content a child accesses, for actions taken on the device, or for any failure or limitation of the underlying Apple features.
You agree not to misuse the App, including: using it to unlawfully monitor or restrict another adult without consent; reverse-engineering, decompiling, or circumventing technical measures except as permitted by law; or using it in violation of applicable laws.
These Terms are between you and us, not Apple. Apple has no obligation to provide support for the App. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them. The App also relies on RevenueCat for subscription management; your use of such services is subject to their terms.
The App, its name, design, and content are owned by us or our licensors and protected by law. These Terms grant you no rights to our trademarks or branding.
The App is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, to the maximum extent permitted by law. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain disclaimers, so some of the above may not apply to you.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data or profits, arising from your use of (or inability to use) the App. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law (for example, for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud). Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid for the App in the 12 months before the claim.
You may stop using the App at any time and delete it. We may suspend or end the license if you materially breach these Terms. Sections that by their nature should survive (e.g., disclaimers, limitation of liability, governing law) survive termination.
We may update these Terms; we will revise the “Last updated” date and, where appropriate, notify you in the App or on this page. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Spain, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules, and subject to any mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence. Questions: hi@mykidspace.app.
