When you write, it helps to include your iOS version and a short description of what you expected vs. what happened.
You pick a child profile and the apps you want available, set a length, and start the session. During the session the device shows only your chosen apps; everything else is shielded until the session ends.
Face ID (or your passcode) confirms that a parent — not the child — is ending the session, so it can't be stopped accidentally or on purpose by the child. Your biometric data stays on your device and is never seen by us or Apple.
My Kid Space uses Apple's Family Controls to shield apps. iOS only lets an app do this after you grant Screen Time access. If you denied it, enable it in iOS Settings → Screen Time, then reopen the app.
For privacy, Apple never gives third-party apps the list of installed apps or raw usage figures. You choose apps through Apple's own secure picker, and usage is shown inside Apple's private report view. This is by design and applies to every app of this kind.
No. Apple keeps certain core system functions available and outside an app's control. My Kid Space helps focus a device but is a supervision aid, not a guarantee that every system function can be blocked. See our Terms for details.
Manage or cancel anytime in iOS Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions. To restore a purchase on a new device, open the app and tap Restore Purchases. Refunds are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.
Yes — profiles and settings sync through your own private iCloud (Apple's CloudKit). Make sure you're signed into the same Apple Account and that iCloud is enabled for the app. We never see this data.
Delete individual profiles in the app. To remove everything, delete the app and remove its data from iCloud in iOS Settings. Because we run no server, there's no separate copy on our side. See our Privacy Policy.
No parental-control tool is foolproof, and iOS behavior can change with updates. My Kid Space raises the bar significantly, but please continue to supervise. If you find a specific bypass, email us — reports genuinely help us improve.
